It is all about HIM & HER

The father is always a Republican toward his son, and his mother's always a Democrat. That strong mother doesn't tell her cub, Son, stay weak so the wolves can get you. She says, Toughen up, this is reality we are living in. A son is a son till he takes him a wife, a daughter is a daughter all of her life.

A daughter is a mother's gender partner, her closest ally in the family confederacy, an extension of her self. Daughters are like flowers, they fill the world with beauty, and sometimes attract pests. And mothers are their daughters' role model, their biological and emotional road map, the arbiter of all their relationships. A father is always making his baby into a little woman. And when she is a woman he turns her back again. The love between a mother and her daughter is special. A mother takes her daughter under her wing and teaches her how to be a woman. In order to do this, you have to ask yourself what it means to be a woman of today. How do you balance care for others with your own quest for meaning and joy in life and how do you pass on these lessons to your daughter?



You don't really understand human nature unless you know why a child on a merry-go-round will wave at his parents every time around - and why his parents will always wave back. Always kiss your children goodnight - even if they're already asleep. Your children need your presence more than your presents. It's not only children who grow. Parents do too. As much as we watch to see what our children do with their lives, they are watching us to see what we do with ours. I can't tell my children to reach for the sun. All I can do is reach for it, myself. Being a full-time mother is one of the highest salaried jobs in my field, since the payment is pure love.
